“Learn to work harder on yourself than you do on your job. If you work hard on your job you can make a living, but if you work hard on yourself you’ll make a fortune.” Jim Rohn
Becoming a prosperous leader is something I believe every person is capable of. Through hard work and the desire to succeed, you realize that you truly are your own destiny. Peter Voogd, in his article on entrepreneur.com, explains it perfectly: “the harsh reality we all must understand is you will always be paid exactly what you are worth, or expect you are worthy of.”
As entrepreneurs we must always find ways to become more valuable to the marketplace. In the introduction to my book The Prosperous Leader, I discuss multitude of ways to adapt your people skills in order to create your own prosperity. Voogd continues on this theory by telling his readers, “your life is formed by the perspectives and philosophies you adapt, and changing your perspective can create an immediate shift in your life and business”. I couldn’t agree more!
The entirety of The Prosperous Leader focuses on becoming a better, more successful you, but also attempts to teach you to become a better leader. The only limits to your success are set by yourself!
